Our dehydrated onion granules, which you often call dried onion granules, are machine-dried, not sun-dried, and onions are so big that I don't think they can be dried in the sun. Because the water content of onion is too big, it takes 8 tons of fresh onion to produce one ton of dried onion granules. The onion flakes are then used to produce different sizes of diced onions. And the water content of the onion pellets should be controlled within 8% so that you receive the onion pellets without lumps. This is also the export standard of dehydrated onion in China, no matter it is onion grain or onion powder, it must reach this standard.
